The quirky doctors at Sacred Heart Hospital bring their bedside humor back to DVD with Scrubs - Season 5. In this Emmy-nominated season, which aired from January to May 2006, the zany cast of practical jokers -- J. D. (Zach Braff), Elliot (Sarah Chalke), Turk (Donald Faison), Carla (Judy Reyes), and Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) -- make life-changing decisions. J.D. begins a hot-and-heavy romance with his seemingly perfect match, while Elliot gets fired from her fellowship position and must bribe Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) to get her job back. Dr. Cox and Jordan (Christa Miller) find out she's pregnant and have to come to terms with working together, while the Janitor (Neil Flynn) convinces J.D. to help him move out of someone else's house. Also, Carla and Turk decide to start a family, and Dr. Kelso shows off his youthful legs. Extras include: an extended cut of the 100th episode, "My Way Home," directed by Braff; a featurette entitled "My 117 Episodes: A Look Back at Five Seasons of Scrubs"; plus deleted scenes and alternate takes.
